Activities of Department of Economics

Title: - Report on Expert Talk: The Department of Economics, Bir Raghab Moran Government Model College, Doomdooma, in collaboration with the IQAC, organized an Expert Talk on the topic “Career Prospects of Students of Economics” on 27th August 2025 at Room No. 11 of the college. The session was formally initiated by Dr. Aktar Hussain, Head of the Department of Economics, who welcomed the resource person and highlighted the importance of career-oriented guidance for Economics students. Prof. Biren Konwar, former Head, Department of Economics, Doomdooma College, delivered the expert talk. In his lecture, Prof. Konwar emphasized the diverse career opportunities available to students of Economics in academics, research, public policy, banking, corporate sector, and competitive examinations.
